About collegesinchina.com
Most websites about studying in China are lead-generation funnels: they show you the universities that pay them a commission. We built the opposite — a complete, filterable corpus of every mainland Chinese university qualified to enroll international degree students, with tuition quoted exactly as each university publishes it, scholarship rules explained without agent spin, and honest city-living data.
Our commitments
- No agents, no commissions. We never take referral fees, sell your contact details, or "help you apply" for a fee. Application links go straight to university systems.
- Every figure is being verified source by source. Tuition, stipends and requirements shown as typical ranges are editorial estimates pending confirmation; once checked against the official page, we link it and show the verification date. See data notes.
- Complete, not cherry-picked. We list 300 universities (and growing) across three tiers, including the smaller ones agents never mention.
- Not affiliated with China's Ministry of Education, CSC, or any university. This is an independent information site — always confirm details with the official source before acting.
How the site is funded
Currently self-funded and ad-free. If display advertising is ever added, it will be clearly separated from content and will never influence rankings or listings. We will not run agent advertising.
Sister site
Our Chinese-language sister site 211.club serves Chinese students navigating domestic university choices — the same sourcing discipline (every figure traceable to an official publication), in the opposite direction.
Found an error? Every data page links its source — compare and judge for yourself. Corrections are applied with the source.
